Grammar Issues in Academic Paper

Students from university usually do lots of writing which can be notes, critical thinking, essay, lab report, or even thesis and dissertation. Usually grammar is a big issue for students who come from country which their first language is not English.

There are 15 frequently occurring grammatical mistakes:

  1. Subject-verb agreement
  2. Tense or verb form
  3. Singular/plural agreement
  4. Word form
  5. Unclear pronouns
  6. Articles
  7. Prepositions
  8. Superfluous commas
  9. Omitted commas
  10. Apostrophes
  11. Word use
  12. Sentence fragments
  13. Run on sentences
  14. Parallelism
  15. Modifiers

An Hour As A Bonus

Today I wake up and realize that AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time) has ended. It means that time is set for an hour backward. This will be for a six month period until end of October. Australian Government has given a schedule for Implementation Daylight Time within Australia, which you can find it here.

What lesson that you can take? Well, for me, I have an hour bonus for my life of course. But it doesn’t mean that you stop doing productively. So let’s start working now. It is Sunday guys
